  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, if we suspect you have violated these Terms (e.g., spamming, abusive behavior, or manipulating prediction scores).

3. User-Generated Content (UGC)

BoxOfficeWala allows users to post reviews, comments, box office predictions, and other content (“User Content”).

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you post. However, by posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content on our Platform and in our marketing materials.
  • Community Guidelines: You agree NOT to post content that:
    • Is hate speech, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or pornographic.
    • Contains spoilers without using the designated “Spoiler Mask” feature.
    • Promotes illegal acts or violates intellectual property rights.
    • Is spam, automated, or intended to artificially inflate/deflate movie ratings (“Review Bombing”).
  • Moderation: We have the right (but not the obligation) to review, remove, or edit User Content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.

4. Box Office Data & Accuracy

  • Informational Purposes: All box office collections, budgets, verdicts (Hit/Flop), and trade figures provided on BoxOfficeWala are estimates based on trade reports, producer figures, and distributor data.
  • No Warranty: While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or timeliness of financial data. We are not liable for any decisions (financial, investment, or otherwise) made based on this data.

5. Gamification & Rewards

  • Virtual Items: “BOW Points,” “Badges,” “Ranks,” and other gamification elements are virtual items with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to other users.
  • Fair Play: Using bots, scripts, exploits, or multiple accounts to manipulate the Leaderboard, Prediction Game, or Voting systems is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban and forfeiture of all points.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Our Content: The design, code, logo, layout, and original editorial content of BoxOfficeWala are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
  • Third-Party Content: Movie posters, trailers, stills, and celebrity images displayed on the Platform are the property of their respective production houses and copyright holders. They are used on this Platform under “Fair Use” principles for the purposes of commentary, reporting, criticism, and review.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Platform’s operation, uptime, security, or the accuracy of the information provided.

8. Limitation of Liability
