Ramayana Part 1 Hits ₹51 Crore Day 1 Gross

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1 grossed ₹51 crore in India by 6 PM on opening Thursday through a massive rollout of 20,849 shows across 4,804 screens. That raw total hides an early occupancy rate of just 36%, meaning the sheer scale of the wide release is driving collections rather than packed houses.

Hindi circuits lead the revenue split at 72%, supported by regional versions and a per-theatre average of ₹1,06,161.

While high ticket prices and aggressive programming keep the yield strong, Friday advance bookings will prove if this front-loaded opening holds up or drops fast.
